What Makes GoTrim Thin Unique?

When we think about maintaining heathy blood sugar levels, promoting weight loss or supporting overall metabolic health, one molecule often stands out: glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This hormone is a game changer, influencing insulin’s activity in the body, appetite regulation and even the communication between the gut and brain, influencing how the brain receives signals for eating and feelings of fullness. Every person — whether they’re struggling with weight, looking for blood sugar maintenance or simply seeking better metabolic health and aging —relies on this finely tuned system. However, few understand the profound connection between gut health, nutrient intake and the body’s GLP-1 production — until now.

Research reveals that the combination of specific botanicals, TriBiome™± — a water-soluble triglyceride of acetate providing pre- and postbiotic support for butyrate production in the large intestine — and targeted lifestyle interventions effectively supports the body’s natural production of GLP-1. This synergistic approach offers a compelling pathway to metabolic support. Understanding the function of GLP-1 in the body can help us know how it may be used to our advantage for achieving or maintaining our weight management goals. Studies suggest that GLP-1 concentrations can be influenced by many factors, such as gut microbiota, blood sugar levels, eating habits and one’s body mass index.

One often-overlooked factor in weight management is the role of the central nervous system (CNS). As food moves from the stomach into the small intestine, gut-produced hormones and mediators, such as GLP-1, communicate with the CNS, sending signals to the brain about the body’s nutritional status. This makes the CNS a hidden ally in regulating weight, but also highlights how disruptions in this communication can contribute to excess weight or slow weight loss. The key point is that the brain’s feeding centers, which play a critical role in weight management, are deeply influenced by gut health and the production of specific hormones. When this gut-brain connection is weak, it can hinder weight loss efforts. However, certain compounds, such as flavones, saffron, short-chain fatty acids (like butyrate) and antioxidants, can help support this connection, offering a targeted and effective approach to supporting weight management.

Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1)
Weight and metabolism can be affected by nutrient signaling. GLP-1 is one of these unique gut-maintenance hormones. It has been identified as the key hormone for maintaining healthy glucose levels. When GLP-1 binds to GLP-1 receptors, primarily located in the hypothalamus (the area of the brain that plays a role in metabolism and hormone regulation), it triggers insulin production and the removal of glucose from the blood stream. Thus, by helping maintain blood sugar levels, GLP-1 can play a major role in weight management.Known as the “un-hunger” hormone, GLP-1 communicates to the brain when one is full, helping to deter overeating. GoTrim® Thin provides two powerful ingredients, Eriomin®† and TriBiome, combined with other botanicals to support your body’s natural GLP-1 production. This vegan, gluten-free formula supports the body’s natural production of GLP-1, thereby helping to maintain healthy blood glucose levels and promoting appetite suppression. Sufficient levels of GLP-1 have been shown to promote satiety and support fullness, which can result in feeling fuller longer and supporting weight loss.

Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) supporting GLP-1 production
A contributing factor that influences the way the brain and gut communicate is the presence of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the gut, which enables a healthy balance of gut microbiota. SCFAs are sources of energy for healthy metabolic functioning and are critical for maintaining optimal communication between the gut and brain (gut-brain axis). Furthermore, SCFAs have been shown to promote the production of GLP-1 and help support the body metabolically.Supplementing with ingredients that promote the production of beneficial gut bacteria, such as TriBiome and the studied ingredient Eriomin, can support the microbiome’s diversity and gut-barrier function. A 12-week study evaluating 200 mg of Eriomin supplementation demonstrated a 22% positive measure of GLP-1 production compared to participants not using Eriomin. Participants also saw an 18% increase in measures associated with adiponectin, a protein that supports metabolic processes and energy balance. Additionally, Eriomin was shown to promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria, including Ruminococcaceae, which are linked to the natural production of SCFAs and overall gut health.

Prebiotics and postbiotics for ATP production and mitochondrial function
GoTrim Thin provides TriBiome (triacetin) as its primary metabolic support agent. TriBiome is recognized for its ability to go beyond supporting metabolic health and insulin sensitivity by supporting adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production and mitochondrial function: It approaches metabolic health from the standpoint that all the body’s systems are interconnected, and that a healthy metabolism is maintained through healthy insulin sensitivity and mitochondrial functioning. TriBiome, also known as the bioavailable form of the postbiotic acetate (also called triacetin), acts as a prebiotic specifically shown to help promote butyrate SCFA production. Both acetate and butyrate play an important role in the gut; butyrate provides energy to colonocytes (cells in the gut lining) that help maintain a beneficial environment for gut microbes to thrive, while acetate helps maintain the gut’s pH and has a greater impact on mitochondrial and metabolic function.

The ability of TriBiome to promote butyrate production may support healthy weight management and help to regulate appetite. Higher levels of butyrate generated in the intestine have been shown to be correlated with lower CNS response to the anticipation of appetizing food.Essentially, an abundance of SCFAs serves as an energy source that signals specific pathways aiding in metabolic regulation, one being the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathway. Acetate and coenzyme A (CoA) are required for Acyl-CoA synthesis to occur, enabling ATP or energy production, and ATP synthesis generates adenosine monophosphate (AMP). Research shows that the generation of AMP, fueled by Acyl-CoA, helps promote the ATP/AMP ratio. This encourages the activation of the AMPK pathway, a particular pathway recognized as a “metabolic switch” that can help promote metabolism. Like TriBiome, white mulberry fruit is a unique botanical containing specific flavonoids that supports the AMPK pathway as well.

Maintaining healthy hormonal balance
In addition to helping maintain healthy blood glucose levels and supporting insulin sensitivity, white mulberry has been shown to impact various hormones in relation to hunger; various reviews demonstrate it can have an impact on adiponectin and leptin. Mulberry’s ability to help promote adiponectin signals one to feel fuller for longer, and its promotion of leptin sensitivity helps to regulate appetite.Among the many health benefits of the luxurious ingredient saffron is its ability to promote satiety, which may support weight loss by helping curb appetite and making snack attacks less frequent. Saffron also supports serotonin levels, which can play a role in healthy appetite and productivity. Scientifically studied saffron is packed full of biologically active compounds that are responsible for its unique attributes shown to help contribute to metabolic health.Harness the power of GoTrim Thin to connect your brain and your gut, helping them to work in unity, avoid unwanted snack attacks and stay full longer.

Make weight loss goals achievable and sustainable with GoTrim Thin, formulated with clinically studied ingredients that help promote GLP-1 production to support your weight loss goals.
